Business Simplification Initiative

We'd like to introduce Jeppesen's Business Simplification Initiative, which is a proactive approach to identify, facilitate, implement, and track opportunities to simplify how we do business.  This initiative is critical to achieving our Vision 2010.  This pertains to ALL EMPLOYEES, at all levels, at all locations so please take the time to read.

WHAT IS BUSINESS SIMPLIFICATION?

• Common systems, processes, standards, organizations
• Effective use of common, off-the-shelf technology
• Investment in deploying Lean practices and methodology
• Develop the skills of employees
• Create metrics that measure non-growth costs
• Reward simplification
• Leverage gains from prioritization and cost controls
• Look outside-in at how we do business ( the customer's view)

BCA Reports 32 Commercial Jets Delivered in March

Boeing Commercial Airplanes delivered 32 jetliners during March. The deliveries consisted of 22 737s, six 777s, one 767, one 747, one 757 and one 717.
