WHO IS ELIGIBLE
In order to be eligible, you must live within our Service Area when you enroll. A subscriber and his or her eligible dependents must meet the eligibility requirements agreed to by Kaiser Permanente and your Group. Some Groups may have special eligibility rules. You should check with your Group about what special rules apply to you.
An eligible dependent is defined as a:
Spouse;
or
Child
- An unmarried dependent child (or proposed adopted child) of you or your spouse, to the end of the month of his or her 19th birthday, or if a full-time student, to the end of the month of his or her 24th birthday. Any other unmarried dependent child under age 19, or if a full-time student, under age 24, entirely supported by you or your spouse, permanently residing in your household and for whom you or your spouse is legal guardian.
Your Group may have amended this age limit by agreement with Kaiser Permanente. Check with your Group to find out the limiting age for your dependent children.
