Widely recognized today as one of the best urban school systems in the country, Denver Public Schools serves the residents of the City and County of Denver, Colorado.

While its roots can be traced to 1859, when the city was founded, the district was created in 1902 when voters approved a constitutional amendment that created the City and County of Denver. The same constitutional amendment consolidated five school districts into today's School District No. 1.

DPS is one of the largest employers in the City & County of Denver with nearly 15,000 employees. Our transportation department transports nearly 25,000 students each and every day. It's our responsibility to ensure the safety and protection of these children before and after school.

  • Must be 21yrs or older
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Good Driving Record (no more than 2 violations in the last 3 years).

WE OFFER

  • $12.10/per hour to start
  • Raises every six months for the first 2 years.
  • Paid training ($650.00 upon completion) for CDL Class B-P2S Drivers License.
  • Paid tutoring Classes for all written tests.
  • Daily Split Shift: 5 1/2 hr. guaranteed($66.55 daily) 6:15am-9:15am and 2:00-4:30pm
